Dissemination of project findings at the W3170 Annual Meeting, Los Angeles, California, U.S.A., June 13, 2017

Ganga Hettiarachchi chaired the Annual Meeting of Multi-State Research Project, W3170: Beneficial Reuse of Residuals and Reclaimed Water: Impact on Soil Ecosystem and Human Health, funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) – National Institute for Food and Agriculture (NIFA), June 11-13, 2017, Environmental Learning Center, Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant, Los Angeles, CA, U.S.A. Dr. Hettiarachchi gave a presentation entitled “Field-based investigations on stabilization of contaminated military sites through growing biofuel crops and soil amendments” to the W3170 group on June 13. This presentation was co-authored by Zafer Alasmary, Kraig Roozeboom, Lawrence Davis, Larry Erickson, Valentina Pidlisnyuk, Tetyana Stefanovska, Azil Nurzanova, and Josef Trogl.
