Purchasing of Gerstel CIS4 inlet for GC Agilent 7890A at IPBB, Kazakhstan

The inlet Gerstel CIS4 for GC Agilent 7890A was purchased at IPBB, Kazakhstan. That equipment is a programmable temperature evaporating inlet for GC which has advantages compared with conventional split/split less inlet, including large volume injection, cold injection, cryogenic focusing and direct thermal desorption. The use of that new equipment will allow to improve the accuracies and limits’ detection during GC analysis of different organic substances in the environmental samples.

Purshasing of Gerstel CIS4 inlet was done with support of NATO SPS MYP G4687 budget with 30% discount done by distributor taking into account the importance of research within project for Kazakhstan. The unit was installed at IPBB on December, 2016 and NATO label #6200 was put on it on June, 2017.
