Two places are selected in Ukraine: Kamenetz-Podilsky, Khmelnitska oblast, Western Ukraine and Mariinka, Donetsk oblast, Eastern Ukraine. The first place was contaminated by military storage left after Second World War II, the second place has been recently contaminated by military antiterrorist operation on-going at the Eastern Ukraine. One new place -Mimon has been under selection in Czech Republic: the place used to be served as airport for former Soviet Union Army in 1968-1991. The place for the research in the US is Fort Riley- active air-force base for US Army, where one site was contaminated after military training in 1944-1945 years. It was decided to present data of the first year research as reports at 3 international conferences in 2016 and summarized as 2 manuscripts.
  • Developing ways for communication. It was decided that the best way for communicating is Internet connection via E-mail. Also regular skype conference will be set. For providing a good proper connection with Ukrainian participants it was decided that NULES team would purchase the skype connection equipment as soon as project will receive the budget money for 2016 year.
  • Proper support of financial expenses of all teams. Those are responsibilities of NATO country Director Dr. Erickson who will provide constant consultation with NATO office in Brussels in order to encourage them to issue the Letter of Agreement as soon as possible.
